was too powerful a force for me this weekend. I knew I was in trouble when I saw it came back from vacation on Martha's Vinyard, and brought a pair of his sideburn friends along, too.
I threw everything I had at him in LW supersport. I attacked early, split lappers, even tried intimidation by contact in turn 6. I got in front a couple times, but the man is on fire! He even out-braked me into turn 1. Bastard.
I had two laps in that race a full 1/2 second faster than I have ever gone on an SV, and the biatch still showed me who da man is!
Sometimes after races I get the feeling I could have done more in this corner, tried harder in that corner. I literally had the bike spinning and crossed up out of every corner, every lap trying to beat him. I truly know I tried my hardest.
Pete, congrats! That was one of the most fun races I've ever been in. You have progressed into quite the formidable racer, and it is always a pleasure racing with you!

P.S. Hope I didn't scare you going through 6/7/8. Thought you were NEVER gonna back off!
