FYI there are 8+ different shades of Ducati red. I believe most are PPG.

there could be a hundred and it wouldnt matter with this method because its taking the sample and configuring the closest possible match which is the blendable match its usually better than using a paint code because fading and ageing causes color change which this will compensate for

I've got some bodywork I'd like to have you take a look at, but probably not for a couple weeks.

+1 I had this done on my dads Corvette, perfect match. The paint shop charged me $80 for the service.

I want to take the time and bump this thread to say a few things about Jake...

Jake is helping me out big time by driving an hour to Degsy's house to pick up my tank yesterday to get painted...He has kept in contact with me the whole time updating me on whats going on...Hes an overall great guy and I would def. do business with him again just based on his service. Thanks again Jake,

I have seen it done. Works awesome. I believe it has something to do with a spectrograph. I think it also may be the way crime labs ID hit and runs. But don't quote me.

Thats odd, Jake and I exchanged PMs frequently while he had my tank and was very professional.

all it takes is one bad experience and some word of mouth to make sure you never do business with a group (such as NESR) again. At the very least the guy could return a phone call to let someone know what is going on. At this point if he does get back to drago his excuse is irrelivant. death in the family, long hours at work, delay in recipt of materials, all of this would take one simple phone call to make your customer understand. When drago gets in touch with him i hope he just asks for his stuff back as i would not want the hassel of dealing with this guy any more, no matter how inexpensive he is. I was thinking of maybe throwing this guy some business on a new tail fairing i have coming but you can bet your ass i am not even thinking of it anymore.

denno's leather guy does the same thing every now and then. he gets busy, and is unavailable to return calls. it may seem suspicious to people who dont know him, but i know a ton of people (myself included) that would still give him the business any and everytime i need work done.

i dont know this painter personally, but i would give him the benefit of the doubt.

If a guy honestly cant find 3min in his day to shoot me a quick phone call to let me know whats up than he does not want my business. If he cant return my call, he should not be in business.

I don't know jdobelbower or Big Draggo. Bit I'd say ANYONE who says anything about the situation between the two without knowing ANYTHING about it is most likely talking outta line.

This guys got my parts and he won't return my phone calls and emails. Anyone else do business with him?

...doesn't really mean that he's been sitting on his parts for months on end now, does it? Maybe it IS indeed the case, but we don't know that yet. Do we?

Not that it was the conclusion that Draggs was hoping for, but at least it didn't end in total fuckoverness!

I'm glad he got his stuff back. Communication is always key to keeping this from getting outta hand or getting any more blown out of proportion.

So, anyone got a way to contact him? He still has the rear seat cowl from Spencer's bike.
