We've had a few questions in the past couple days, so I thought that I'd put the information out there for Thursday. We are running a practice that is open to everyone on the second day of the two day school. This is different from our regular practice of Fridays in that it starts later (after lunch) and runs later (until 7:30). As long as we do not have delays from red flags, we have 5 scheduled rounds for the practice groups. If we get red flags, then we will end up having four rounds of practices.
Groups
There will be two main groups for practice - big bike (MW/HW bikes) and small bike (UL/LW bikes). These groups will be for all racers (EX-Am-Nov). If you are a Novice that is not within 3 seconds of the bump-up time, you may practice with the basic students. The basic students will be faster than normal since they will have been riding for two days.
Times
Riders may sign up starting at noon for practice, and tech will open at that time as well. Prior to this time, the 2 day students will be completing thier morning riding and classes. Big Bike riders will start with the first session at 2:00, and the lest scheduled session is at 6:45. Small bike riders will start at 2:45, and the last scheduled session is at 7:15.
Camping, Parking & Food
Camping is available for anyone that wants to come in on Wednesday night. Camping fees are payable to the track. The Penguin Students will primarily be in the North Garages until the end of the day Thursday. If you arrive for practice, I'm sure they they will be willing to share space with you if they are in your normal garage when you arrive, but they must be allowed to stay in the garages until the end of the day. The Smoke Shack will be open for lunch.
Cost
The cost is $120, payable the day of the event.
