Aren't they pretty much what the stock preload is? You'd be better off finding a donor set of cartridges.

My first gen sv forks don't have any adjustability what so ever. I think only the 99-02 sv-s has them. I just came across this surfing the web and was curious.

what is your sag now? Do you know if or how much pre load is already in the forks or what the springs are?

if their close and you just need a little more preload then cool. I'd be a little skeptical of the being only 40 bucks though.

They came standard on '02 (Gen 1) and up (Gen 2), both S and N models. Preload is always adjustable via the internal spacers (cut new ones out of PVC), but these do make it easier.

Spears has something similar. Granted it's quite a bit more expensive than $40 ebay things but at least you know that they're made right.

This looks like badly translated engrish:

"Racers using these spacer kits have seen dramatic decrease in changing both front and rear wheels/tires."

Really? Less changing tires cause I have captive spacers? I suppose those preload adjusters wash my bike for me too.

"time" seems to be the missing word there.

i have these on my hawk. they are what they are. I Best offered them like $22 i think and they took it last year. finish on them isnt' great, put some painters tape on them when you torque them into the forks.
