Promoting The Loudon Road Racing Series

There was a thread a while back how best or how better to promote the LRRS. I have been thinking and talked to my boss about this, I wanted to throw it out for discussion. Here at Billerica Motorsports we will be having an open house Saturday, June 6th. We will be doing a mailed flyer, having it announced at other motorcycle events leading up to the open house as well as our own Web Site advertising. If there is a willingness for Racers to come down and meet the customers and show them your race bikes, hand out literature on LRRS or your specific TrackDays. I would promote that on my open house advertising.

This is open for discussion or comments. Yes I am exploiting you to try and draw customers but on the other hand it is a way for you to use me to meet the public and get your message out to people who might not otherwise know about your passion.

    Thanks

Yeah, would have been great if it weren't a race day.

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

If it ends up not being a race weekend, we would love to be there.

+1. I'd show if I weren't racing. Email Tony, he might be interested in doing something with you.

I talked with the power that be... and seeing we are in the planning stages I was able to move the Open house out one week to Saturday June 6th. I do appreciate your support and enthusiasm.

Re: Promoting The Loudon Road Racing Series

I talked to fred neerguard (sp) up at the regarding us having a group available to help promote things. He told me about what they were looking to do and really didnt seem like he wanted us doing our own thing. I will call him again tomorrow and talk to him to see where they are at with the posters, hand outs, and "events" they were planning. I will report back more tomorrow. Ive been in a holding pattern with this waiting on that stuff to pan out which is why i havent updated the other thread yet.

This doesn't need to be as much as the series as promoting you as a Racer.

Zip Tie Alley as well, assuming we can find a donkey (live or stuffed) and one of those like 6 foot inflatable size penis.

I sell Yamaha and Suzuki. Promoting a 'bike show' while I have an open house, I can't be brand specific nor would I. My service and parts department can get parts for all makes. Plus I do Ma Inspections.

I have a couple of bikes that may fit the general "show & race" category.
