I know what you mean, but hp doesn't equal lap times at loudon. For example, more hp-easier to highside.Originally Posted by Doc

Ya sure about that? I'm wrapping up my 5th consecutive race season now (on my 8th year of doing track days)..... and it's fuckin STOOOOOPID!![]()
I'm a little late to the party but I'll throw in my .02 anyway since it seems to be the cool thing to do.
You're gonna go and do whatever you're gonna do. By the time we line up next to eachother on the grid, chances are pretty good that you'll kinda know what you're doin so I don't really care what ya do... But there's a lot of people in this thread with road racing experience trying to give you some guidance and some of them actually know what they're talking about... I could do as others have done and completely pick your posts apart... but I'm not going to. Just humor us. Keep an open mind. Closed minds breed ignorance and "Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge". - Charles Darwin.
(and before you get all hell bent on me, no, I'm NOT calling you ignorant... just simple words of caution. Best of luck & have fun.)

That's alright, I don't take any of this personal. On the internet, 90% of what I've said has come across the wrong way and I've already apologized for that. In reality I'm alot more humble and reserved! It's just funny how the forum is. It kind of makes me feel like the only way to win people over is to totally efface myself and claim total ignorance and lack of ability. I don't want to be disrespectful at all, most of you are guys I'd probably look up to for advice. It just doesn't come across that way on the internet!
