Race report

Well I got to the track @ 12 on friday. Got set up, signed up for afternoon practice and teched the bike. Ready to go! Head out for the first practice session, feeling pretty good. I had just finished my 4th lap and came into T1 with a decent amount of speed (for me anyway). Lowsided the bike, slid onto the grass and then the bike and I went for a tumble. Ground, sky, quick glimpse of R6 1' off the ground and up-side down, ground, sky,etc. No real damage to me other than I was dizzy as hell and seeing stars, banged my knee a bit, jammed my finger and my left side is pretty sore. The bike didn't do so well, but all was not lost! Thanks to Mark, Bob, Sean, Jason and Mark's friend (Chris?) the bike was ready to go for sun practice! Thanks again guys!!! I only entered one race, #8 MWGP. Felt good to be out there again, but I definately have some confidence rebuilding to do. Thanks to all the NESR peeps for the encouragement and help along the way! See you all next year!

Busted clip on, fairing stay shattered in 4 or 5 bits, brake fluid resevoir ripped off and display hanging in nose

Dented tank, footpeg and frame-slider ground down. Look at all that dirt!



Bent sub-frame and the can was in rough shape.

You rocked out there on Sunday Bry! Very happy you got it back together and went back out right away! I waited till the next season, and that took away much of my confidence! New tyres and some rest will make you much faster bro!!! Great job this weekend!

Great job getting back out the Bryan. I'm glad to have been able to help get your bike back up and running. It was a project but was a lot of fun.

I'll scrape up a weekend report a little later, i still gotta go out and unload all my shit, cold ride to work today on the R1

Sorry I wasn't at the track to help put the scooter back together Bryan. I had planned to be there, but some unexpected family issues kept me away. Looking forward to seeing you at Tony's trackday.

Sorry to hear about your get off, but it sounds like you are OK, and your bike is at least back together. I would have liked to be there to help out, but had other plans for this weekend

Bryan, glad you were ok....But man...That bike looks like shitt...It used to be soo clean not too long ago. You really should take better care of your stuff.
