haha when i was ski jumping, in 2004 at nationals i weighed in at 62.5kg (roughly 138lbs) and I was 184cm tall (roughly 6')

i've gained like 25lbs since then in upper body weight.

NOTE: that was also after a crash diet to lose weight for the competition....normal weight i was like 145lbs

Well, none of you guys have a career in motogp!

I don't know what I weigh right now (135?), but during a long distance hike I once weighed in at 112 (5'7")

110 lbs of twisted steel here. so if 7lbs equals 1 HP i should be winning HW races on a pit bike.

It will run until April 25th. (First race weekend). Good luck fellas.

Post your WEEKLY weights here. Anyone else can join you'll just have less time to lose.

Also if you like you can post any hints or tips, workout plans etc... Or ask for advice.

I watched The Biggest Loser last night in prep.

I went through this a few years ago because of bad news from my doctor during a physical (overweight with a cholesterol count of 320 at 33 years old). Here’s what worked for me, and also helped my friend lose over 70 pounds so far…

    Meals:
Breakfast – healthy cereal with 1% milk
    Snack – banana
Lunch – sandwich on healthy bread, mustard instead of mayo, diet soda
    Snack – apple or orange
Dinner – Salad greens, sliced mushrooms, baby carrots, and a can of chunk tuna in water. Low fat dressing

Water all day, 1 or 2 beers a few times a week

    Exercise:
Treadmill or walking – do what you can every night, I started at a mile and worked my way up, now I can run 5 or 6 miles in under an hour. I put a TV in front of the treadmill and watch movies, or recorded shows. If I’m going to waste two hours watching a movie, I may as well do something good for me.

I’ve lost about 35 pounds (and kept it off), and my last blood test showed a cholesterol count of 214 (106 point drop). The running has been replaced with biking, but will be coming back because of winter. Good luck…
