I got to the track later than expected Friday afternoon, a normal 2 hour 15 minute drive from my work place to the track turned into a 3 1/2 hour trip.. never seen it that bad before I think the first thing I did was crack open a beer to relax a little
After settling down some I went and took care of the pre-reg forms and tech before deciding what to do for grub for the evening.
Pizza and beer it was and I must say we had A LOT of good laughs that night, you couldn't have asked for a more betterer time with more gooder friends
The moon was out and we were all in a partying mood that night
Then that fucken guy fucken Chris showed the fuck up.. I didn't know what the fuck to fucken say...fuck off Waaay to fucken funny....
The next morning... you guessed it, hangover city at our camp Did anyone else besides Bryan, Gary and I make first practice?
The air was cool and damp but the track surface was dry for the first practice. My second practice it was starting to drizzle a little bit but I went out anyways. I got 2 laps in before it started to rain and I figured I may as well pit in before it gets to wet... I didn't want to see how much water it took to make a slick not grip anymore
I was only in one race, race #3 GTL. It had rained pretty good during the riders meeting but stopped shortly after so I was hoping things would dry up a bit before my race. Things were looking good as it looked like there was a dry line forming during the first GT race.. Cool, lets go plug in the warmers and suit up.
Just as luck would have it, here comes the rain again during race 2, I unplug the warmers and call it a day
It pretty much rained off and on for the rest of the day
That night was again full of lots of laughs. 8 of us went out to eat at Longhorns in Concord and there was a lot of interesting comments made during our 2 hour stay there. She was cute
Sunday morning, I woke up about 5:30am to the sound of rain drops.. I was going to get up and pack up and go but I fell back asleep only to wake up 2 1/2 hours later to calls for Novice red sticker practice
No practice for me again so I took my time and packed up all my gear before leaving for home about 11am. I didn't feel like hanging out there again for another full day of rain but I'm guessing as usual, the sun came out when I left?
Despite the weather, I had a great time this weekend. I don't know if I've ever laughed so much in one weekend
Great to see Bob up and about up there again and thanks for the help with the warmers on Saturday am. Oh and thanks for making me even "think" about them 625's, it could happen
I did take a few pictures early on Sunday
Someone was posing on my bike...
