Not that I've really raced with him but that little punk makes me smile every time he goes buzzing by me. Hopefully I'll find my fast again and bump so I can watch him go by me again.

What a pansy. I've been hit on track 4 times, and punted once (Seth you sonofabitch), and could only laugh about how I need to go faster. Its fucking racing. But seriously smutty, you ever pass me close and I'm gonna knock your teeth out.
I had it happen twice to me in one race in round 3.
The first time, it was clearly my fault. I tried to make a pass in T1a on the inside and didn't have a shallow enough line. The rider I was passing (a CCS rider), didn't see me and rode his line to the apex and hit my front wheel. Luckily, I kept it upright.
The second hit, I'm not so sure about. Brian Kent was about to lap me though T12. I made the right hand part and he flopped earlier than I did into the left-hand part and his shoulder hit my foot and he stood me up, forcing me to go through the grass.
I was pretty shaken up with that one. I ended up so rattled that I pitted in on the next lap from frustration. It was my worst race to date.
Better get used to contact like that before you bump to expert. I wont forget last year when I was going into 1a on the start and saw, fuck what was his name? 13 before Chris got it (granted he was a dick (Not Chris Watt)) trying to push Block out of the way with his elbow.
Do some mini racing, that'll get you used to close quarters high contact bar banging. Once you know what to expect it'll lower your anxiety when it happens and you can actually start to enjoy going through T1 laying on someone's bodywork while someone else is laying on yours...
Cooner ain't into that macho shit!

I even liked racing with the Butcher the one time he came to play in ULSB with a "cheater bike" .
Pete Gaborio too(until he left the EX ranks and got a proper fast bike )
I would say Scott Ferguson and Gino Berrio as well but I was never close enough to actually race with either of them
I would say I like finding someone faster than me and then catching and Beating them, even after I botch the start and give them a 12 second head start (Right Richie?)
I haven't raced him but I like riding with Scott Mullin on the track (when he is on his slow bike and going slow
I always like lining up with people I know. I loved when 1a would empty for ULSB (even if we weren't all in the same class).
As for close racing... I have bumped Knees coming out of 12 with Todd Babcock, and it is always nice to get a little wave from a fast guy when they lap you. (Scott Greenwood, Gino, Alex, Eric Wood)

i remember when Jay first raced the 250, i got a run on him on the last lap coming out 6-7 and went around the outside of him in 8. we got to the apex of 9 at the same time. i think i can say thats the closest ive ever been to someone in a turn and felt completely comfortable. Jay said he was gonna lean on me but thought better of it.
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

Close your eyes, look deep in your soul, step outside yourself and let your mind go.
Trust me Pete they remind me all the time that us Yanks (or septics - look it up Cockney rhyming slang ) don't actually speak English anyway.
