A* GP-Plus. 7,000+ street miles and ~4 days at loudon. Sun or shine. So far so good. They are sized slightly small but form fit nicely with use. If I was looking for a spare pair, I'd probably get another set of the same.

Nah.. I'm just cheap and gas was expensive. I only mention it because I had a pair of generic cheap gloves that would shrink beyond recognition once they go wet. After a few stretch-shrink-stretch cycles the stitching tore and the gloves literally fell apart. The A* don't seem worse for wear after they get wet.. no shrinking... no stitching issues.

him actually "getting" the joke (regardless of good or bad) would have meant he admitted to said mistyping

I think I might go for a pair of Spidi Pentas next time just to mix things up & try different stuff.
i love my GP techs, but after two seasons on the street with no get offs, i had both palms busted open and a hole in my index throttle finger, sent em back and got a free pair, but still disappointing to have that happen

After 2 years you sent them back and got a free pair? After 3 weeks all they told me they could do is give me dealer cost. Great, I can get that anyway.

Great thread, good info. I will need some new gloves for the track. I've got HJC winter gloves, and dirt bike gloves, but no leather street gloves for the track. Good to hear some of the less expensive stuff holds up, think I'll make a list from this thread before going to a shop to try stuff on and buy what fits.

I just got a pair of held Phantoms. I previously had held galaxys. Crahsed them pretty good and they pulled through just fine. No tear through and mild scuffing on the palms. I think I lost one of the rivits on them. Im sure they will take another crash just fine but Id rather replace on my terms.

Have yet to wear the new ones on the bike but they feel awesome out of the box

yeah the palms busted open on my gp plus and gp pro gloves, but from the design I'd be VERY surprised if hat happened to the techs. I've had em for almost a full riding season now and they've held up great so far.
