    Rambunctious Novices in 09?????

Cornerworked both Saturday and Sunday in T1-T2 and witnessed a lot of ballsy (Bumping, Leaning, getting tangled, not giving up an inch) passing by the Novices in all classes. Are they getting that head strong? What happened to the Polite “Oh a wheel I am spooked and need to back off." Very, VREY dicey this weekend. Anyone witness that same thing? Thankfully I did not have to pick up any one of the conflicts of interests up. Some did however end up going into the grass or very nearly (2 Bikes) riding straight into the air fence. It made for great entertainment but WOW.

Yeah, I did notice! You'd think we were trying out for a position in AMA or something. MW Superbike was the worst for me. I watched 4 different people almost highside themselves by T6, people hitting each other.

Is AM a lot better? I was thinking about staying in NV for a while but I may try and get out of there ASAP if people continue with the bonzai BS.

I dunno Gino. I recall some bar-banging races with Jeff Thomeyer back when I was a Novice. We were all over each other at the 05 Loudon Classic.

I traded plenty of paint in novice. Our grids were also 30-40 bikes deep though.

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

Yup, it was a little nuttier than normal.

My favorite is still the novice who pitch poled his GSX-R up and waaaaay over the turn 10 soft wall, tires and guard rail landing right in front of the 10 gate (a good 20+ ft. of air ). 2 novices in that crash. One we had to dig out of the barriers and tires.

Also had a big Penguin beginner class and quite a few raced. Maybe contributed??

    Re: Rambunctious Novices in 09?????

Glad I got out of there... too many people on the ragged edge, white knuckled and whacking the throttle open, erratic lines, etc...

As for the quick guys... seems like mid season a bunch always show up who are really quick... i think the good weather brings em out. I guess they just don't have enough races to bump and are casually racing once or twice a year...

Well I can assure you that wasn't me, they were all in front of me and I saw one of those bikes go so high that that you could see it in the air from before the tree house where I was. And it didn't stop there some guy over cooked his rear in two further back in the pack, had he passed me he would have moved all the way from 19th to 18th
