Friendly head's up that slow races and corner worker appreciation bbq will be taking place outside the North garages Saturday 9/10 @6ish.

BBQ is free for all corner workers and available to anyone else who'd like to eat with a small donation of your choosing towards the Karen Hornbecker fund.

Duncan will be on the grill, you won't be disappointed.

$10 entry fee to participate in the slow races. Winner will get half of the entry fees, the other half goes to the injured riders fund.

Pit bikes, race bikes - almost anything welcome except silly trikes.

Yes, 9/10 is my birthday. For my birthday I just want to attend this race weekend in the worst way. I am praying my mom will be home from the hospital/rehab after her latest health scare and I get that internal green light to enjoy this coming race weekend. I want to GROM that slow race bro!!!

This was a ridiculous night last year, things got way weirder than any other Saturday night I've seen. There were rolling burn outs through the pits, circle wheelies, and some drunk redneck kept trying to injure himself on a borrowed scooter.

Meat is ordered, I'll be waking up about 5 am on Saturday to start the smoker. We're going to run 2 whole pork shoulders (picnic and butt) with my signature rub and Carolina Piedmont sauce.
