    ready to go

I got my nice set of spare rims/rotors and nearly brand new set of rains today. BRING THE RAIN!!!!!

Also ordered my new Snell 2005 helmet.

So far, from last year, the following is different:

    Rebuilt front brake caliper
    Braided front line
    HH Sintered Pads
    Spare set of rims
Spare set of new race tires
    I actually have rains (Bridgestone)
2 New (to me) set of 1-piece leathers (no more zip ties and uber-glue)
New (to me) raceboots, now have a spare set
    New helmet just for racing
2 extra new sets of race gloves

Hooray! I'm ready to do my one race a weekend! (we be 'po until we buy a house)

    ready to go

So I guess, in some sick twisted turn of events, I will not have a braided front line. I also somehow gave the bike a full paintjob and repaired the front fairing. No more naked for me!

Got the pitbike runnin mint too, FINALLY!

I'm stoked! I hope the weather is just like this next weekend!

according to them ... nothing is going to pass tech (unless you run plastic plate) ... this is my best effort to make the tech gods happy.

They did not want to number to wrap on the top of the tail ... this was the only other option

but from the distance they have been talking about being able to see the rear numbers ... you can see these just fine ... you can clearly make out the number ... the further you get away from the bike, the clearer it looks because you actually loose the edge of the tail and the number appears whole

but who knows ... whatever they want ... their rules ... I just want to play

    Nope.

    I feel your pain, though.

At least when I was active, big tail sections were common.

all the new bike tails are flat ... the yamahas and suzks are the worst .. almost completely flat, but I'm going there fully expecting to fail tech for my numbers

That's good. But don't stress when you get there... have the plates made up with numbers and a plan to mount them ahead of time.
