    Rosenburg's run-off

Going around nascar turn 1 and 2 when you run into t1 too fast.

If that's true, who was Rosenberg and why is it named for him?

I have a buddy that started racing this year, got into track days a couple years ago. He's gone around there more times than Jeff Gordon.

If it wasn't for the corner workers making you re-enter when it's safe... it'd be the fast way around I tell ya! That and shooting through 3 into 10, it'll REALLY cut your lap times.

    Rosenburg's run-off

no its the space to run off on turn 3

i walk my dog by a guy who coaches soccer almost everyday...this guy BTW only has one leg, his other leg is this amazing prosthesis that allows him to run and play soccer (not sure how to spell). Anyways, my dog always goes over to say hello and fuck with his cones... i started talking to him and he said he used to take his dog to the track... yada yada yada..... come to find out, he was racing for BMW when his brakes completely failed coming into turn 3 at about 120mph! I said to him, what happened couldn't get to the run-off? He said there was no run off at that time - he was medflighted out of there, you can do the math. He told me there is a plaque in turn 3 on the wall that says Rosenburg's Run-Off

His name is Kevin Rosenburg, anyone happen to cornerwork T3 and see this plaque? He was definitely not a BS'er as we were talking about lines thru Loudon and different tracks... Anyways, I thought it was extremely interesting and sad at the same time... he was cool though, the loss of leg doesnt seem to hold him back at all!!!

    Rosenburg's run-off

    I've never heard of him.

When I started racing (1999) there was no run off. A racer named Bryan Paquette was killed in 2004 when his brakes failed and he hit the wall, catapulting himself and his bike into T10. The gap between the barriers was created at that time (at least for LRRS).

I had heard that the AMA left a straight open run through there.

    Rosenburg's run-off

Jimmy Moore did the super man in 1999 or 2000. No opening, no brakes, no shit. He's fine now but it ruined his weekend.
