So I was preoccupied with having to leave for a damn work trip this weekend and ended up entering one class per day.
Saturday missed first practice...Started up bike and it started leaking fresh oil from the oil filter cover. Turns out my o-ring was swelled up and shitted. Wandered around begging for new one. Very nice Mr. Lyskawa let me take an o-ring that didn't end up working unfortunately...ended up finding one from #428 who I race and he let me have it, thank you so much! Second practice went ok I guess, loved the new chicanes.
Supersingles- Holeshot this race from wave 2 and took the win. On the last lap I caught upto another bike from wave one and he was pushing me toward the wall as we went past the WHITE flag and kinda spooked me I guess...next thing I know I think I'm on the cool down and start putting around and those 3 bikes or so infront of me pull away a bit. Fastward to turn 6-7 and I realize people are still racing and no flaggers are waving...F, turn it back on and finish the real last lap and take the win. (I'm an idiot). Did a best of 1.34.2 and wish I had done better...owell.
Sunday- Practice was fun and just did my thing with a bike no longer leaking oil but losing coolant through a bad waterpump seal. Funny since alex/#434 in same garage JUST fixed his coolant issue, and now my bike has coolant AIDS Anyhow its an easy/cheap fix so no worries.
Motard- Holeshot this race and ended up 3rd. I think within a lap or two let a train of 4 dudes by me...kinda gather myself as I'm super pissed for riding like a pussy and used Shane Narbone as a marker to get back upto the front pack as he was lapping/spooking them. Got back upto their rear wheels and picked off one guy and another ate it out of turn 12 so I finished up 3rd. Did a best of 1.32.5 and was alot more happy with that than saturdays race.
Packed up, dropped shit off at home and then took off for Albany, NY...still tired now! aha
