I picked up an ELKA 3 way for my 07 G1K to finally replace the OEM unit for this year, but I noticed it's set up about 1/2" longer eye to eye than my stock shock. I'm assuming the previous owner did this to adjust for a more forward geometry. Should I return the shock to OEM height or run it longer as it sits? I've already dropped the forks flush with the top of the triple to make up for the taller rear Dunlops fwiw.
Any help would be appreciated!
