Just got the bike last month. Did engine covers, techspec tank grips, Speed Triple throttle tube and just got a Sargent seat.
Wish list for 2011:
Round one:
engine sliders
fork sliders
handlebar
mirrors
levers
hugger
Round two:
Daytona 675 forks, radial calipers and MC
Penske shock
A new helmet. My AFX is beat, and it's only a year old. I'm thinking an Icon. All my other gear is Icon, might as well complete the set.
Ohlins steering damper, Woodcraft frame sliders, GB racing covers, are all on the bike. Armour Bodies bodywork is the last thing I need for my bike, and I've been buying gear: My Teknic Violator suit should be on it's way, and I just got a pair of Knox Handroid gloves.
My shopping list...
Nada
Zip
Zilch
Oh, and nil
Retirement does have it's benefits!
Have fun guys, winter seems terribly long right now, but it seems too short when april rolls around and you're waiting for those damned engine builders to get you motor back to you. Usually, it's a race to the wire...
My wish list for 2011 is to drop another 4 or 5 seconds and move to white plates.

A lack of self preservation is worth about 10. Stop caring so much about yourself.Quote:

I dropped my forks and shock from the SV off to PK, so he can work his magic on them. I'm going the custom cartridge route on the stock forks, like Seņor Oreo did.
No problem. first thing I had to do was find a set of donor forks from a 95-97 ZX6R, because the top caps and internals are swappable.
He's thinking about making one tube rebound damping externally adjustable and the other compression damping externally adjustable.
My SV is going to be his guinea pig.
*sigh* :mope:
Front end:
Fork rebuild - ready to go out
Bring triple clamps to GMD to check for alignment? (I think Pete said the lower was ever so slightly tweaked) - ready to go out
New front axle - done
Clean & inspect bearings -
Brakes:
New Accossato Master Cylinder - done
New Galfer Superbike lines - done
New (to me) OEM calipers - done
New Brake Caliper bolts - done
Clean EBC residue off my wave rotors -
New Vesrah RJL Pads - done
New Brake Fluid -
Engine:
Supersport legal build - ready to go out
Throttle body sync -
New full Leo or M4 system? (Probably gonna save that for next year)
Rear end:
Shock rebuild - ready to go out
New chain -
New sprockets -
Remove tire, clean and inspect bearings -
I think the Tuono might have to wait a little while :madfrown:
You definitely have more than I do Pete. Of course, I probably won't be in contention for any championships.
I got my shock back from PK and installed it today. The rest probably won't be back for a little while (forks, plastics, tank) and the caliper rebuild isn't happening until closer to spring.
New tires....
Probably do an oil change.
Damn maintenance intensive motor-bikes.....
