short race report

Bike ran great, allll weekend. No complaints there! I felt good in practice on Saturday, and did mediocre in GTL and LWGP. Sunday I woke up exhausted and felt so-so in practice and I just ran out of steam in the 125 gp race, being relegated to 5th position (out of 5!) on the white flag lap. Nick J has stepped up his game immensely this season, running a new personal best of 1:19.2, so I have a ton of work to do! I was stuck in the 23s with a few 22s here and there - or worse when in traffic.

I had fun chasing down Dan Murphy in GTL (unsuccessfully) and LWGP (got him that time!), and even though it was horribly hot outside - 92 degrees F in the shade according to my weather station. I'm a little out of shape now, and I felt a little rusty, but there are some races left!
