Why is it in all the new classes you only have a couple different mfg in them? In the Superbike class no Yamaha's or Kawasaki's. In Superstock no Honda's or Suzuki's. In Xtreme no Kawasaki or Yamaha and Supersport didn't have any Honda's

Honda didn't want to get their asses kicked in SS again this year, so they're going to win FE by default.

The AMA hasn't been giving much lead time on their decisions lately (We were told after we got to Daytona that our Ducati 996 wasn't homologated). Setting the 110% cutoff for the 200 was bullshit, Rick Shaw missed out by .4 of a second after EBoz laid down that scorching lap. Manufacturer's participation will most likely be spotty until the dynamics of the situation become more stable. Just makes it a bit more ridiculous that a (shrinking) minority calls the shots in AMA racing.
