No! race 2 rocked. 5 foot of snow in the yard and this made it more bearable.

Watched the race. The ticker format on the bottom of the screen was to small hard to read. The color was washed out and to bright. What did you all think?

Yeah I had to adjust my tv. It was cool watching Melandri on the Yamaha... I like the way he rides.

Haven't seen Melandri ride like that since 2006 on the Fortuna Honda.
Wasn't sure how he'd perform, but wow....looks like he may be a contender for some wins if keeps THAT up!

I was wondering if we'd see another epic slide in T14 like this one he did in '06

That, combined with many of the bikes looking really similar with dark paint schemes (Yamaha/BMW/Suzuki) and so many riders switching seats this year, made it hard to tell who was who in the first race. Got easier by race 2, but the last half of that one was focused mostly on the battle for 2nd.
