What would that make my garage then?

On what's available, as of right now there are no open garages. They were ALL rented out for 2014, I ended up getting what was going to be the rookie garage due to a paperwork snafu. After Jan, when in theory all renewals are supposed to be in you'll find out who didn't renew opening up a spot.

Trust me when I say the money spend at the garage is money well spent.

It would decisively answer the question "Where is bubs pitted?" Although the disclaimer gives pause-
" We advise customers to never leave canopy up overnight, rain or under bad weather conditions. We will not be responsible for such weather damages."

Not sure why everyone thinks it's so important to be in the garages. It's really not. I prefer to be out in the infield.

It's less about garage than it is about people, although the garage helps as well.

I agree with you, but it's not like being in the infield means you are in solitude...although it is probably easier to meet new people in the garages...

Our infield group has grown quite a bit over the past few years and we've helped a bunch of new riders come up the curve.

To me, either one works, it's just a question of if you'd rather live in the city or live in the country?

I have done both. Garaging is more comfortable and less work, especially when it rains.

    Yup.

Garages are a luxury, not a necessity.

I raced from 2006-2012 w/o a garage. No big deal. Then again, back then MOST of NESR was on the infield over by the tunnels.

I showed up to race with my GS after being told not to, I had to pit on the other side of the tunnels that weekend...

Garage offers good protection against the sun/wind/rain.
It is easier to keep organized.
It really is minor in cost when people add up and share.
Less things to carry (no easy up, no carpet, etc)
    Close to bathrooms/registration/tech
Easier to meet and find people.

I actually don't understand why anyone would not be in a garage besides cost. But that's just my opinion.

    When to start LRRS

What is this, a tire warmer discussion?

No one gave any reasons other than cost. No reason to be arguing with people who aren't arguing.

Are you confused? Where do you see an argument? Or any discussion is an argument if two opinions are different?

Let's start an argument about whether or not we are arguing.

I agree although a garage isnt a MUST have, its GREAT to have.

Shelter from the elements, electricity so you dont have to run a generator if you're on warmers.
