the streak is broken

my 5th year of racing and Jersey finally finished ahead of me without a mechanical issue or otherwise. i still ran a faster lap time than him...by.001 seconds but ill give it to him. i blame Pete for this lets start from the beginning.

Sun, race #11 LWGP
due to a computer glitch i end up dead last on the grid and pete is 2 rows ahead of me since the computer counted all his AM points (lame), Jersey is also a row ahead of me. i do the warm up lap and while sitting on hot grid a marshall comes up and says "whats this?" shit its my camera hangin off the bike. i fiddle with it to velcro it back on...i hear RPM rise..look up and the 1 board is sideways..FUCK. drop it into gear and start to let the clutch out as the flag flies (phew!).
decent start, Jersey is a few bikes ahead of me but see him take the grass line in 12..now im within 6 bike lengths. hes right on someones ass but cant tell who. lap after lap i slowly get closer...then it dawns on me..."where the fuck is Pete?"...then i realize its pete that jersey is battling with. l
ap after lap Jersey takes a different line in every turn in an attempt to get by Pete (its almost painful to watch). his inconsistency is making it difficult to make a move. i get next to him on the outside of 1 at one point and in 9 as well but just cant do it.
then it happens...on the last lap...he gets up the inside of Pete in 3, runs wide, Pete squares it off to go back under Jersey, then Jersey SLAMS the door...HARD. Pete chops the throttle and im just far enough back that none of this affects my drive up the hill. i move to the outside of 5 and we come down the hill into 6 and i brake a little later than Pete to squeeze by on the inside of 6 i try to chase Jersey but its too little too late.
on the cool down lap we exit 2 and Jersey looks back to see Pete but double takes when he sees me. it was an awesome race and hopefully is a sign of things to come this season. Jersey and i clocked off 1:20.5s on the last lap which means im close to where i left off last year.

i wont get into my MWPT race because it was a shitshow that had me coming in last with a BL of 1:28

wish i had video of the LWGP race but camera power failure left me with nothing...sorry.

Such a good friggin race... I can't believe I held you guys off for as long as I did. It was such a rush to be racing with you guys finally

every weekend ill have to get past you and Jersey. you guys do more races than me, therefor more chances for points. wish they would just grid by points for that class.
