    Suit shoulder width

Is there any way of altering a suit to expand a suits shoulder width? Its an old suit, so it won't break in anymore. I'm noticing I can't get my elbows out enough because I don't have range in the shoulder ... so, is there a way to widening it? Or onto a new suit?

    Re: Suit shoulder width

Probably not. You might be able to add a piece in the top of the armhole that tapers down from the top but it's gonna kinda fucked up and change the angle of the sleeve. Unfortunately the width of the shoulders is pretty much a factor of the chest size in an off the shelf piece. Making that bigger is not a function of adding in just one place. Go to a shop that does custom leather work and see what they say.
