I was about to order a new set of pilot powers for the YZ450f for street use... and it dawned on me... what about the tubes...
Who can enlighten me on tubes for motards? Should you get a new set with each tire change? how do you select them and where do you get em?

Bridgestone makes tubes the correct size for 17"radials.
thats great, but what about the questions i asked?
and how'd this thing end up in the pit area? i was asking about tubes to go with street tires.. thats not general bike stuff?
back to work...![]()

You don't have to replace the tubes at every tire change. I think the ones on that bike are the heavy duty michelin tubes?
Yamaha

Michelin does make SMR size tubes. Just make sure to use the proper size, as the wrong size can create a heat issue.

go tubeless, they're a pain in the ass.
they sell kits to convert spoked rims over to be tubeless or you can get a set of forged rims instead.
