    My Thursday practice crash

Hey guys. Too many drugs so need to keep this short. Came out of turn 3 going up the hill. Tried to increase use of the throttle each lap in that section (was hoping some new suspension adjustments helped to hook up my squirelly rear tire). Made it about 3/4 of the way up the hill full throttle and the the rear just lit up very abruptly and hung way out. I tried to stay on the gas to get it back or at least low side it but it caught and wham I was in the air. Left hand broken in seven places......fractured wrist...fractured foot. Anyone need to scavenge parts?
    hehe.

    Going back to bed now

Holy shit man... sorry to hear that... I would never have had the balls to stay on the throttle when that happened.. Each and every time I have experience that I have eased off the throttle and luckily avoided anything but ego and plastic bruising lowsides...

Hope you heal fast, and I hope the drugs are good!

But when we ride very fast motorcycles, we ride with immaculate sanity. We might abuse a substance here and there, but only when it's right. The final measure of any rider's skill is the inverse ratio of his preferred Traveling Speed to the number of bad scars on his body. It is that simple: If you ride fast and crash, you are a bad rider. If you go slow and crash, you are a bad rider. And if you are a bad rider, you should not ride motorcycles.

Sorry to hear about the injuries Scott. Hope you heal up fast.

Ya, your bike was a pretty sorry looking sight sitting on the trailer. Gonna take a bit of work to get that baby back on shape...
