"I have the perfect solution, this is mostly for newbies and wannabe racers, I am surprised Eric Wood has not thought of this.
1. Keep your bike the way it is, the more stock the better.
2. Pay Eric,Jeff,Jerry, Rick, Mike, or any really fast expert
or class champion.. say $25 to go out and do his best laps on it. This will most likely be 10-30 or more seconds faster than your best lap time.
3. Do not spend any more money on trying to make the bike faster because YOU are the one slowing it down.
4. Learn to take off your skirt and ride, most people will never take a modern bike to it's limits before they reach theirs.
5. Learn to set up the suspension and controls so they fit you, this costs nothing and makes all the difference. Spending $900 on an exhaust
system will not make you faster. Feeling that the shock is not set up right and knowing how to fix it will.
