No trophies? WTF?

I concur, it sucks. I have a bunch of 2nd place trophies, and now that I can actually win a race I'll never get a first to offset all those damn seconds.

What we get now is a plaque that they will give us tags to add on from the previous weekend, each weekend. For the amount of $ it costs to go racing, get in, camp etc. you wouldn't think those cheesy trophies/plaques that can't cost them more than $3 each would break the bank.

you can ether get a 15$ credit for 1st 2nd or 3rd and put that towards race entries, or get a plaque that says your name race # and lrrs racing and they give you plates that attach to the plaque. so if you place 4 times a weekend thats a free sprint race!

I think the plaque is cool...one plaque for the whole season and at least it has your name, race number and year on it!

no you are right, thats why we opted for the plaque....not that we have money to burn but its fun to show the grandson some "bling" for a change

I was wondering this as well. I asked sunday night and the younger girl that helps betty asked if I opted for trophy last weekend. I said yes and she said "you're all set then" so maybe not.

+1 except you wouldn't get the plate for the fifth. Unless you place top 3 in 3 races a weekend you will have blank spots...

I thought..but not sure... I thought Betty told me they changed the options for this and you could get either 1 Plaque for the Season with all the (individual trophy type) finishes, Credit for 1st, 2nd or 3rd (sliding scale as pointed out earlier) or a regular trophy (like last year)

They are only like 8 bucks at bridgewater trophy...just order your own 1st place's and presto...your a winna!!

I need a new plaque....they spelled my name wrong! ..Seriously.
I kind of like the whole plaque idea, its more personal. Only problem is that you need to enter and do well in a lot of races or you have a big plaque with a lot of empty slots.

I've got a plaque and so far it's only got 1 tag on it with one more coming.... I'm not sure how many top 3's I'm going to manage this year, maybe a few more?

And with this new plaque thing, I kinda think they should go back to placing out to 5th, especially in the Expert class. With the competition we're all up against in the Expert class, even a 5th place finish is an achievement.
