I still have one hanging on the wall. Complete with holes from the BFSP race on Dumpster Fire.
Get some stiffer springs to keep it from dragging badly. You ain't no jockey mang
I did ordered new fork springs. The belly pan I have may work but its kind of beat up. Not sure if i need to order a new one.
Patch it up, fiberglass isn't too hard to work with if you're going for function over looks.
Your 500 lol
Clever sir!
What company makes bodywork for these bikes?
thank you, just incase I need to order one. I might just do what josh did.
There are three current LRRS racers (BJ Horsham, Joe Latona NESR screen name - smokinjoe, and John Lear) in garage 12A that race EX500's. They as well as Dana Temple (Penguin school) can provide great information about that bike. They might already have bodywork / belly pan that will fit.
I will have to get in contact with them. A new pan is 172 bucks from that airtech place
Can you run a lightweight battery in USCRA? I assume not
Ok that's what I thought
Yes you can.
Oh really! Ok thats good to know. I need a new battery so I was thinking of getting a shorai
That just seems so wrong haha.
You don't NEED a battery, so lightweight vs none isn't really anything to get worked up about. Cost also isn't crazy, available to everyone, etc. The old trick with points bikes was to run them (no starter) off a 9v so it's not a 'modern' thing to run lightweight batts.
That sounds complicated josh! But, its a very valid point!
bump start the fucker like 90% of the bikes there
Would this be acceptablehttps://www.airtech-streamlining.com.../EX5003OCP.JPG for a pan??
Well... look at the rulebook and see if it meets the requirements? :D
Feels like the last sentence is cut off but that's how the rule is written. If you can suitably attach that pan, and it'll hold the required volume while covering the bottom of the motor it'll work once you add an absorbent pad as required.Quote:
