    Thanks Josh. I have a belly pan but the bike has a Hindle exhaust so it may not fit. This might be my only option

    I still have one hanging on the wall. Complete with holes from the BFSP race on Dumpster Fire.
    Get some stiffer springs to keep it from dragging badly. You ain't no jockey mang

    I did ordered new fork springs. The belly pan I have may work but its kind of beat up. Not sure if i need to order a new one.

    Patch it up, fiberglass isn't too hard to work with if you're going for function over looks.

    There are three current LRRS racers (BJ Horsham, Joe Latona NESR screen name - smokinjoe, and John Lear) in garage 12A that race EX500's. They as well as Dana Temple (Penguin school) can provide great information about that bike. They might already have bodywork / belly pan that will fit.

    You don't NEED a battery, so lightweight vs none isn't really anything to get worked up about. Cost also isn't crazy, available to everyone, etc. The old trick with points bikes was to run them (no starter) off a 9v so it's not a 'modern' thing to run lightweight batts.

    Where did you find the rule book? is on faceybook?? if so I cant see it. But thank you, I think this looks like an easier option and cheaper than buying a new lower.
