Hey folks- I know you all will be out riding on monday, so why not come by and show some support for your fellow NESRian vintage racers? Myself, Jerseygirl, Kurlon (?) and others will be racing in the Granite State Championship. Its our last USCRA event of the season ::sniff:: Sidecars, screaming 50s, maybe some tank shifters, did I mention sidecars?!?! Bring the family!! And come say hi, I'll be out on lil baby blue #555

I believe there are a couple classes it'd slot into actually... Note, their tech is more stringent than LRRS, you're going to have to fab a pan in addition to wiring a TON more...

What kind of bike is it that you are riding? I've been looking at these older style bikes for a little bit now and I hope to buy something like it in the next year or 2 to restore and hopefully get my girl riding on it (since she will never buy a bike, but i know if i get her on one she will get addicted!)

How is the maintenance on it?

That is a 1974 Honda cb360. Old small hondas are a dime a dozen, you'll find tons of them in bargainnews.com, CL, etc. Love this bike but not sure its the best for beginners- its heavy for its size and the controls are finicky as they are on any old bike. The maintenance has been cake, and I've even crashed the poor girl twice

Ya I'm ok. The bike is a little rashed and shifter is bent to hell, other than that fine. Except for the motor problem- I had no juice in the race, the thing was barely making it up T4, and I was getting trampled on the straights which never happens. I have never been so frustrated on the track and I was getting really desperate in all my corners to make up for the lack of power. You can only play that game so long before it bites you in the ass, so I hit the bowl way too deep and aggressive and low-sided out On the last lap it was a touch weekend for the ladies to say the least.

Crashing sux's, but you get plenty of time to fix the bike now and improve from it all.
