So I made a deal with my wife. She says I can get an Ducati ST if I sell the 900ss AND seriuosly consider selling one of the racebikes. ("you don't need 2" what does she know )

SOooo... That said I have had to make a decision.

Ducati or Hawk....

After MUCh thought and I am sure I am gonna get flamed by the Hawk Nation, I am looking to sell my Hawk, the Ducati (although a grenade) is just too much to give up.

I will only sell it to someone that deserves it and I will give them a good deal. Plus they will have myself and the remainder of Hawk nation to help guide them in the ways of the Hawk. If you know of anyone looking to get into racing (or maybe upgrade from an EX) please let them know.

It is a well sorted machine, F4i front, Ohlins rear, many upgrades...

$2500 to the right person. With spare rims with rains and rearstand.

Agreed. The only reason I put stickers on it was because it is a 92 and it has 95 bodywork on it. Was gonna put it back to stock.

Well I have the 750ss racebike so her feeling is I don't need 2 racebikes. Even though I SHOULD keep a back up for WHEN the Ducati grenades itself. (or at least that is what I am told)

I REALLY HATE to do it but she is driving a hard bargin and she puts up with my racing so I guess I can make some consessions.

Plus the Ducati is gonna SMOKE everyone in ULSB. :

You should see the 6x8 shed I built in the backyard so I could put the lawnmower, snowblower, weedwacker and other crap in it so I could have MORE room in the garage. Still no dice.


BUT I do still have that spare Hawk motor, frame and swingarm. :

hey now, those are f2 forks, not ex500 forks! besides, if you put those on the hawk you can say the bike is 2 seconds faster than in its present form

22's?? um.... my best on the hawk is a (pitiful) 25.7 and 24.5 on hobbs' sv (first weekend back after the crash). i've only had 2 full race weekends this season. it shows.
