Impact Armour. 2 lowslides this year (Loudon-6 NJMP-Devil) sore, nothing broken. I could use a little more room under my leathers though, because it feels tight and kind of restricts my breathing...but...that's becasue I'm a fat, old guy!!
No, I mean the T-Pro Forcefield armour. Joe Rocket apparently sold/sells the T-Pro rebranded for the US market. I however (and Scott, and Jen) own the UK direct stuff imported, as I said, by Johnson Leathers in San Francisco.
You show me one article saying it's too soft and I'll show you five giving it top marks. Regardless of what some 'tester' says I personally researched and handled T-Pro, Impact Armor, and a few others before making my decision.
Your milage may vary :)
i wear a knox one
I have cracked the ribs twice crashing. Both times landing on my side. Though it would not have helped then I intend to purchase one. FYI they are required in USGPRU. Lotsa discussion in their site about this topic.
Knox. I forget it's there and feel naked without it now.
This is not the article that reported the T-Pro was bad.

It's where I got my info on what they are called but you are right, it looks like Joe Rocket worked something out to sell a version of the T-Pro. :beerbang:
I may have read somewhere about a journalist not liking the Forcefield stuff and it kinda stuck in my head. I had meant to talk to you about it at the last race weekend I saw you at. I'll keep looking. i am finding nothing but good stuff (just like when I looked into it before) :D
have a j.r. Pocket version of that back protector. It is kind of soft, and plenty flexy enough to get in and out of the couple Joe rocket jackets I have. I'll have it with me on weds if anyone wants to check it out. I'll be wearing the knox bp I got feo
