What's your 2014 race schedule?

What races do you plan on running for 2014? Not just, "hey, I might do this one, one weekend", but what races do you plan to compete in all season long?





I'm thinking this will be my schedule:

Saturday Race #4 Heavyweight Super Sport

Sunday Race #8 Middleweight Super Sport
Race #13 Formula 40 (fuck everybody in advance)

(Sunday race 6-13 flip schedule every other weekend, so thank goodness that I don't have to be in the last race of the day every Sunday)

I will run these all season. I may try to do two races on Saturday to make it a 4 race weekend, but I'm having a hard time deciding on a second Saturday race. I have no desire to run the GT or "The Dash", and Heavyweight SB was moved to race #4 on Sunday.

Out of curiosity, why are you running all of the UNL races? What's the thought behind that?

i started doing Unlimited races when i got yellow plates because of scheduling. then i kept it when they started the AM/NOV race, because that's my favorite race. now i keep it because i'll get good grid from last year's points. i'm really debating on doing the dash this year, but i really enjoy watching it in the bleachers with an adult beverage. the MW and Unl races are all 600's anyways at NHMS, so the extra cc's make no difference. I tried to do MW races last year, but the schedule flip flops with race 1 and race 7, which would give me back-to-back races with 7 & 8. I'll never do another GT race at NHMS again, so there goes that class.

Edit: Nevermind. I'm committed to doing F40 and I have no interest in running back-to-back races.

you can register when the CCS schedule is released in November. I just do my entries over time, so it's not that bad.

I have no interest in running back-to-back races.

Back to back sprints are a lot of fun, you'll be all warmed up and ready to rock after the first one. BTB with a GTL is a bit more of a challenge.

Saturday, Race 6.

PSTR short course series C-open. I plan to do every race, we will see how that goes.

NETRA Hair scrambles, assorted. The spring challenge is on the list, but after that I'll hit all the ones I can. I can run C -250 for those.

NETRA Enduros assorted few. I did one last year and it was hell, but I think I'm ready for a few more this year. C250 on that too.

As far as all the offroad racing goes, it would be nice to push myself a bit and start winning and maybe be able to ride B class for next year. Definitely not there yet, but dirt riding is new enough to me that I'm still making gains and learning after every ride. C is given to anyone, so the fields can be quite mixed, from old racers just signing up for one ride to brandy new guys.

LRRS. I have a full intention of running every weekend that I can. I have to admit to myself that getting to every weekend isn't going to be possible and just work from there. Along with getting married this summer I'll be working away from home which will make it tough to prep and maintain my equipment.

Anyway, rookie weekend will be the rookie race, and lightweight novice races as well as a middleweight race or two. I'm not totally sure how it works, but I think I will be able to hang with the bigger bike novices. If last years lap times come back quick I should bump after my first or second weekend. Then I'll go for the standard LWSS ans LWSB. I think some of the SV guys run thunderbike too. In reality I'll only get to 3 or 4 races this year.

I did that once, but on two different bikes. It was cool as shit rolling in from the cool down lap, continuing onto hot pit, having another bike waiting for me, and rolling right back to the grid...makes you feel like a damn MotoGP racer.
