I gotta renew my license, install (haha have jeff install) my slipper clutch, start and make sure bike is running good. Change oil. Good to go.

Add oil. Hack harness. Mount race rubber. Mount rain rubber. Play with Starlane. Lose another 10 pounds to fit into leathers.

Pretty similar to a13x. Install slipper, change oil, make sure bike starts.

Re: So who's ready and who's scrambling?

    Oil change
    Chain & sprockets
    Brake pads
    Put newly painted bodywork on
    Gas & go.

Not too far behind on schedule, but I gotta get the pads, chain & sprockets ordered up. I've got till the 19th to get it all done.

Re: So who's ready and who's scrambling?

Someone did not tell me how to change the oil the easy way. I dissembled the entire engine to change it. I'll be ball honing the sleeves this weekend and completing the build. I most likely will not make the first weekend. My drive is not there for this year.

RMZ: Drain coolant, some safety wire, mount new tires/rims
EX: Drain coolant, figure out why it isnt starting
Trailer: Check bearings, grease bearings, mount license plate.
    Step 3: Profit

Re: So who's ready and who's scrambling?

Whew! I'm glad I'm not the only one who isn't at 100%

I need to safety wire, mount new race rubber, road test, tighten everything back up, pray that I still fit in my leathers, and go thru my spares and camping gear to make sure I have everything.

After taking a year off I can't wait to get back!!!!

I just installed a Nemesis ECU and full akrapovic exhaust, just have to tweek the tuning on the ECU.
I got the bodywork prepped for paint, just need to start spraying it once I have a warm enough day....thats it, I'm good to go!!!

Re: So who's ready and who's scrambling?

Mount new rubber, Re-Safety wire everything, Install brake lines, Bleed brakes, Straighten/Weld rear sub frame, Repair bodywork, Mount body work, Add coolant, Test ride, Retorque non-safety wire bolts...... Get a Race Licence, Find a deal on leathers for a short & fat dude, Order said leathers, loose more weight.....

I think that is it......Why do i wait till the last minute for all this shit???
