20's are not 18'S!! You also need to beat Rick to win and what times is he doing??? My point is you need to go faster in the corners to keep the same lap times you have on your 600, so how is it safer?

it is not safer at all .. rich is doing 16's on his sv... so i have a bit to go ., but WILL get there...

i am carring ALOT more corner speed now on the SV ., wish i could on the gsxr... it is kinda scarey !!!!

but G will be too scared to do that ...

I have already done :20.'s on the kind of bike I am buying.. And I have done 17's on my Gixxer, and we all know what kind of shitty drives I got on that.. 19's on the Duc should be easy. I am shooting for 18's the last weekend of the year..

It looks like the top 8 in LWSS are doing 19's (fastest a 16) or better, and in the LWGP the top 11 are doing 18's (fastest a 14). So it looks like it doesn't matter what bike your riding the fastest guys are just plain FAST.
Jeward when you said you have done 20's on a similar bike when was that? Last year at the Team challange? If so the fastest time for Double Apex was a 1:22.7 this must have been your time,and just FYI 2.7 seconds is a lot of time to make up on any bike. (I had to go back and look this up just to get Jeward all pissed at me)
