Brake Fluid reservoir for aftermarket master?

    Anyone got a spare?

I have a stock Suzuki one, but apparently my new aftermarket master cylinder has a slightly smaller diameter connector. Anyone got one that would work for an Accossato master cylinder? One for a Brembo m/c would probably do the trick.

I'm not about to go spend 60 frikkin bucks on THIS.

I'll work a trade if you want a stock one.

Just use the reservoir that you have and use 6mm or 1/4" tubing. The tubing will stretch to fit the reservoir.

What eboos said. 1/4" tubing will easily stretch over the reservoir fitting.

10-4. After some quick research I ordered a couple feet of this in .25" inner diameter - Tygon 2075

.25" = 6.35mm. Hopefully it'll stretch out to about 3/8" or 10mm on the reservoir side.

I already have some similar tubing but the ID is to wide.

It should stretch that far. Tygon is extremely flexible. I use .75" ID Tygon tubing for my liquid cooled PC, and the intake fitting on the pump is 1". It took some fighting, but it fit. Going from .25 to .375 should be easy.

One tip to tubing stretching is to use a hammer to soften up the end you want to stretch. It will warm up quickly and expand.

Careful that you don't get your weiner caught in the 6mm tubing.

A couple feet? You planning on installing some ape hangers on the race bike?

Re: Brake Fluid reservoir for aftermarket master?

I just bought a Brembo RCS 19 and I'm figuring out what to do for a reservoir/tubing. I'm happy to hear the 6mm tygon will stretch over the 8mm stock outlet on my SV650 reservoir, but the stocker is kinda faded so I might just buy a Brembo universal reservoir for like $15. If I buy one, which capacity should I go with (15, 30, or 45 mL)? I was leaning towards the 30..
