Few discussion points
-Fuck. Yes.
-I love Johnny Rea.
-Apparently multiple seasons on the slower Honda makes you a better rider.
-Mike VDM: World SBK :: Marquez : Moto GP. Put him on a competitive machine and he will win everything.

Race 1 and Race 2 were both awesome, finish was even better and almost a carbon copy of each other. Happy to see Rea and Leon finding winning ways.
Coverage on BeIn is stupendous, over 5+ hours of racing
Dude the coverage puts all domestic coverage we've had of ANY moto racing to shame. I shudder to think of how badly CBS will botch their coverage of the new MotoAmerica series. Psyced to have a TV deal, but that doesn't help when you cut to commercial 5 times in 20 laps and miss the majority of significant passes....
BeIn WSBK coverage and NBC's F1 coverage is how racing should be televised.
Ugh, not a fan of their "non-stop" coverage with commercials playing in the main window, but I guess it's better than the alternative. I've always wondered why big sports coverage events that don't lend themselves to commercial breaks can't adopt the TV strategy that Soccer uses with sponsored segments of coverage. I'd be much more inclined to support a sponsor that just has their logo on screen during coverage than someone who forces you to watch the same stupid commercial...
Anyone watch that WSS race?
Pumped that Jonny finally has a competitive ride underneath him. I was the first one to doubt that Haslem would be at the front though. Definitely one of the better races i've watched
Agreed on all points. I've always loved Rea ever since seeing his Cadwell park pictures and videos. He deserves the title after racing that Honda for so so so many years.
I'm incredibly impressed by VDM. Haslam was never competitive on the Honda. Guintoli couldn't make much of the Honda on his first try. Rea was able to be competitive as long as he could stay in the slipstream or the track didn't have a long straight...after a million years riding and progressing the bike. But VDM, first time on the superbike, challenges for the podium and the win. AND he put the moves on Sykes. That kid is something else and I'm excited to watch him progress.

Is the next LIVE Thai race at 2:00am EST on Sunday the 22nd (11 hour time difference with Thailand). The WSBK site is kinda confusing with the schedule.
SBK

Aragon was races were okay. R1 was boring until the last couple laps when Davies and Rea battled. R2 had a couple of nasty high sides; Sykes went down hard. The overall WSBK experience as a spectator is kinda lacking because they don't broadcast in full HD (only 720). I'm not buying the season pass again next year unless they get to 1080...
