Does everyone actually torque their rear sprockets to 72 ft. lbs.? This seems really excessive to me. I've been trying to stick to that spec. all season, but in the process I've actually stripped a couple of studs right out of the cush drive. My mechanic swears up and down that the amount of torque needed is far less because the nuts are lock nuts anyway, and that 72 ft. lbs. is ridiculous. What does anyone think?
