00 CBR600 F4 ideal problem

So my 00 CBR600 F4 has been having a strange ideal problem. When its cold no problem but once it warms up the ideal will dance a bit. If ive been riding for a while and go to take off it'll make zero power below 2.5k and sometimes backfire but not always, and it has cut out waiting at a light before? Im figuring that the jets need to be cleaned and the carbs sinked? But at the same time the problem is only at ideal the rest of the rpm range is perfect. Could it be the voltage regulator or something else in the electric system? Thanks for your input.

My F3 had just about the same symptoms. Got the carbs cleaned and synched and was good as new.
