    Question 04' 600F4i vs. 600RR??

Hey everyone, does anyone know how close these bikes would be on the track with equally experienced riders operating them?? what is the big difference between the two other than the suspension and the redline??Is the RR that much quicker than the F4i??? Any thoughts/ wisdom Thanks...

    04' 600F4i vs. 600RR??

i suppose it depends on how experienced the riders are... if it's two new-average riders, they'll be about the same... if it's two experienced racers or Valentino Rossi's it'll be a different story and i'm sure the RR, with it's newer technology, will take the 4i. It's a widly accepted statment that motorcycle racing is 90% rider... other than that, i dunno what else to tell ya.

Same rider on both bikes would do better on the newer and more inproved 600RR. It's nothing like the F4i, and they have very little in common.

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

I guess my question would be...

Are you considering purchasing one of them?

If so, then there are a whole lot better questions to be asking if you're looking for real guidance as to which one you should get.

Is it for the track mostly? If so, remember that before the RR came out... racers easily did 16's at Loudon with the F3/F4 series.

For comparison... a FAST track day rider is doing 20 flat.

So do you NEED the technology of the RR? Probably not.

Is the bike mainly for the street? If so, I would get the F4 all day long! With the spare money, you get trick out the suspension and have a SERIOUS sport bike that you can ride all day long... even 2 up if you get the one with the one piece seat!

Not sure if this helps or confuses you....
