just wait until you change your oil (if you do it yourself)
Remove fairing...check
Remove oil drain...check
Remove oil filter...che..wait, what? How do I get this thing out of here?
Oh it does come out but forget about not getting oil all over the header pipes and dripping down onto the ground/floor.
I spent some time bending up a piece of aluminum flashing to catch the oil from the filter as you spin it off, it worked perfect for that part. The fact that you have to almost dump the filter upside down to remove it from it's location is where it gets messy. Next time I'm going to try and dump it upside down over the flashing to see if that helps, but it's still going to be messy.
First oil change is done, oil+filter at 372 miles and about an hours worth of time used Now it's time to twist the throttle some
