oh sweet jesus, Someone actually did it. I didnt even google looking for it, but the pure convienance and not having to cut my oem plug, ill pay it.
Who knows, i might be going this way!
Good find buddy, very good find.
What bike do you run at the track?
I have absolutely no experience with cycles 128, but it doesn't sound like they've done anything terribly wrong at this point..but charging you for the diag fee because you didn't have them do the first service is 100% bullshit. As long as you document your services they don't have the right to tell you where to get to get it done, and it absolutely doesn't void or alter the warranty in anyway. As long as the first service was done, who did it and the warranty work you came in for are entirely unrelated.
I kind of agree with you though... it's not worth flipping out over $40....
I have thousands of better things and places to spend 40$ on/at.
oh awesome! You are probably the only honda i see then. i was up at the classic and for 600's i mean i could count all the Honda's there on my 1 hand... ill have to check through my pics to see if i have photos of you. i might.
i know i got pictures of a lil 250 yellow and black ( gino) is his name maybe?
i enjoy seeing Hondas out there. I'm hoping to get a few track days in this year...hopefully i get the bike back tomorrow
yes hut throwing a mental fit like a child and pissing and moaning for an hour about 40$ is not worth it to me. and especially when they are working on the bike and i am working with them.
its not just oh fuck them and try to bleed everyone dry and get something for nothing. they are running a business and business has to go on. there is a reason why all those nice guys shops close..you cant just give everything away.
should they have used the excuse of me not getting it serviced there and tryed to pull a fast one on me about the mileage etc...no
i am trying to not get angry and I'm trying to be positive so it doesn't go affecting other parts of my life... if i let my real hatred take over then I'm a miserable fuck and then nothing will get done. choose your battles, if anything its just more ammunition for if/when they do actually fuck up.
patience young grasshopper.
you forget they were the closest shop that had your suzuki lever they accepted payment over the phone and were going to hide it outside in the rocks for you.
its easy to point out the bad... lets keep our hatorade sippy cups down till they do actually fuck something up. its to easy to hate.
i am giving the benefit of the doubt here.
but after this if its not handled properly...then i am going to take hatorade shots and Boom the i hate cycles thread king will emerge
Oh awesome, i gotta open my eyes then! Jesus!

Thats a hildebrand.
he was shredding, loved watching him. Love that bike.
Someone was showed me a bill of sale for a bike from Cycles 128. It had more fees than i have ever seen. If the bike was $4K it might have been $5K before taxes by time all the fees were added. not sure where you are but Razees in RI is a great Honda (among other brands) shop with experienced and trained techs. 600 mile service on the CBR is mostly oil and filter, check this, check that, shouldn't have any implications on your current problem.
Yeah thankfully i went in, kind of knowing the people i dealt with so i avoided most of the bull shit.
said and done with sales bike i got a good deal.
***Update***
Picked the bike up today everything seems fine, they had cleared the code that was in there, "Reflashed" it, took it for a ride blah blah blah...we will see what happens and if the light pops up.
hopefully the 3rd time does not happen.
they were nice and very apologetic etc, so we will see how she runs.
7/3 i have her back in my possesion.
About 200 miles on her, no issues so far.
Seems be okay.
we will see.
Thats good news.
Just rolled 3,000 Miles...no more light.
Cycles got it right this time. i cant complain.
Problem solved. If anything pops up i will update this thread.
Friggin Hondas...
(Ive owned many many Hondas, and will again)
Haha... I a love me my Honda's but boy was i mad when that happened. I felt like a little boy who just told his parents weren't his real parents, and that we was born a women too.
Damn Honda's...But now that it is all set, we are in love again. They cant produce as many machines as they do and have all of them perfect.
