Motorcycle Rim Straightening???

Looks like a fubar'd the front rim on my VFR... pretty good dent and it's loosing air..

Anyone have a shop recommendation to have it looked at and hopefully straightened for less then a new rim would cost??

That's odd, they said if I dropped mine off at their door tomorrow night, they would call me Monday to let me know it was done. Apparently if you bring it out to them, they will put you at the top of the work list.

Will's Rim Repair is half the cost of MC Wheel. And Will refinished his repairs.

I've had wheels and rotors done at MC wheel with good results

I had my car wheel, which was cracked and bent, repaired at MCWheel and they did a fantastic job. They didn't refinish it, however (it's painted Gold) but it didn't really matter since it was on the inside of the wheel. But had it been a motorcycle wheel, I would have wanted it finished.

In the end it cost me $150.

MC does, not sure about Wills.

I had 2 wheels and 2 rotors done at MC a few weeks ago. The finish was barely damaged and my rear had a huge ding in it from an off at Loudon (wouldn't even hold air).

Rear was dead straight when i had my shop mount and balance a new tire. The did a great job.

i believe he charges $60/wheel for straightening.
it cost me $30 to fedex two wheels to him.

my experience as well, the first time Ihad McWheel do a repair, I dropped it off on a Saturday morning, it was back to me UPS on the following Tuesday, the second time I had a wheel repaired, again I brought it over on a Saturday morning, this time I rode home with a repaired wheel (not the same one, just did a swap for a used wheel with similar repair they had in stock)
