There not the same number, I just looked on Bike Bandit and they're not even the same size, YZF is 47 teeth and the CBR is 43.

They have a sprocket listed for $50 for your bike DJ.

Do you have to replace the chain if you put a new sprocket on?

The OEM size is 47 teeth, if you wanted larger, you'd go with something like the Voretex we looked up which was like $70.

I do have a PayPal, but you could set one up for free using you're debit card if it has a master card on it. Let's not get ahead of ourselves, though. Call the shop tomorrow morning and get them to replace it, then we'll take it from there.

Anybody know if it's okay to replace just the rear sprocket, or do you have to replace the chain with it?

You usually replace all sprockets and chain at the same time. If one part is more worn than any of the others it will wear out the other components quicker. For instance, if your front sprocket was worn and you put a new rear sprocket and chain on your chain would get worn out much quicker which would in turn wear out your rear sprocket much quicker.

This and do a 520 conversion... I got my stuff (Vortex sprockets, RK x-ring chain) from sumofallparts.net for about $150, but then again my bike isn't very common.

Got a coupon code in the mail from them: jul09
Free gift (small black adhesive tank guard) and $1 express shipping.
