Seriously behind the cowl?! What does it do for the ram air ? The ducts slide into the upper, and bolt into the fairing stay...

see the hole right below the windscreen? the piece goes right behind it mating it to your air intakes which go to the air box.

I'm not sure there's much to mate too on the air intakes. The ram airs are already inside the upper, and are bolted to my fairing stay. I don't think this piece is necessary What added support does this buy you, if any?

different apps? mine is a 03 and it does fill a void between the fairing and tubes. and mine are Hot Bodies.... since yours is made for 03-05 it may not be needed for yours?
