Well pm me then. I will do just about anything to your bike minus carbs or opening the engine for a valve adjustment or some highly techincal things like that.
I will do tires, chains, brakes, brake lines, sprockets, crash repair, you name it I'll tell you if I can do it.
I am out of work and need to get some money rolling in till I find another job.
I am not a certified bike mechanic or anything like that but I've worked on a few NESR folks bikes over the years that I hope would say good things.
I live in manchester, nh and will pick up and deliver your bike within a reasonable distance. Have your mail order tires shiped to my house and I'll mount em cheap.

edited,
I posted a post, but edited it out because I didn't think it was appropriate (I quoted a post from you about tire balancing). Just didn't want you to think I was trying to start a flamewar, thats all.
derek
I can guess it was something about not balancing our wheels? KB and I don't bother with our own bikes, never feel a difference or have a problem. Working on someone elses stuff all the details are covered, including balancing. He has the weights and a stand to balance wheels.
Top quality mechanic work. KB has been working on my bikes and trucks since I've known him. He is one of maybe three people I would let work on my stuff and ride or race it without checking anything or second guessing anything for a second.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

Eeeeexcellent Smithers. Just the answer I was looking for.
As you were gentlemen.
degs
Degs we may never have met but I can assure you I have thick skin and this is after all NESR with little to no moderation. I would certainly haven taken no offense personally to your post.
However if I did have one of those fancy pants snapon balancing machines I surely would balance evreyones tires.

Heh heh, yeah, i know you wouldn't get your panties in a bunch, but it just didn't 'feel' right to be posting that comment, so i deleted it.
I don't have any fancy balancer either, just a static balancer, about $80 I think I paid.

ha ha me too, KB maybe you should learn that stuff too while you are at it. On a side not i swung by and had my tires mounted friday night and hung out and shot the shit for a while. no balancing for me since i have retardedly small axles and we didn't feel like running to Home depot to get a smaller rod (insert joke here). but I can't feel anything upwards of 90 mp/h so for so good.
oh my - you speed? you're a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad man.Originally posted by reiobard

Bras cause cancer.
Bring it over. I'll let it sit for a week or two, tell you it's summertime and EVEYRONE wants work done to their bike, I'll then call you and tell you it needs all kinds of parts, tell you that they are all on back order and that it will be at least a month before you get it back.Originally posted by bump909

Then when you say ok I will wait said one month, charge you up the shitter for all this said work and parts. Then give it back to you having done almost none of said work and charged you an assload.
Deal.
Lemme know when you're brining that relic by.
