saw a bike today . .

Went out and saw a SV650 today and was about to buy it but . .. The clutch lever is extremely loose , I mean the engine starts and everything , but theres way too much free play on the clutch. I am starting to think there might be something wrong with the bike . Anyone have any ideas ?

Hmm...so are you saying the clutch cable was adjusted properly and it still had a lot of play? If so I'd say the clutch is probably missing.

I'm guessing the cable had probably just stretched a little bit and it needs a quick two minute adjustment to remove the slack.

probobly needs a clutch plate. mine is still for sale for 4200!!! it runs great and has 3500 miles !!!atleast take a look at it i garuntee u will walk away with it!
