i think you might have a valid point with the air thing, but has anyone considered the fact that his piston return springs might be too tight? making the bike make too much power for the tyres. also jay you should also consider replacing the canooter valve... when those get clogged..well... look out!

someone post up a link.. i need to order some summer air stat!
does anyone have the tool to repack all the grease in my o-ring chain so I can change all the o-rings?
I don't want to replace my winter air until I get the summer grease in my chain!
Its a good thing I stocked up on summer oil last year so I could change it early. I also have back up tires with summer air in them so I can ride in winter with no problem.

Have you adjusted the power band yet? They tend to stretch while the bike is in storage... I can lend you the left handed metric screwdriver to do it right if you need it...

I don't adjust power bands , stretching is actually good, you loose some power on top, but who wants to go over 150 when you can get to 100 so much quicker with a stretched oneOriginally posted by SSearchVT

I heard Peter Kates has some of that great Ohlins Air, but its fairly expensive, around $12 per tire, and you have to get it adjusted every 5000 miles.

Yeah, when I had the front wheel bench dyno hooked up I noticed a little loss on the top end... I figured it was loose muffler bearings...Originally posted by RandyO

Does your bike have a flux capacitor?![]()

Yeah but you are afraid your headlight mesh and your helmets visor might interfere with your ability to see, so you just sit at home and worry about things that could go wrong with your bike rather than riding it.Originally posted by FireFly

Fair enough...the best part about it was at night you could literally hear the farts from all the tents on saturday night.
