    Bike Maintenance - South Shore

Looks like it's going to be nice outside on Wednesday. I'll be in my driveway working on my bike from 6 till it gets dark out.

I've had a few S. Shore guys PM me asking questions.

GhostRyde, looks like you're is all set with your plate light now. but if you want to use some heat shrink or zip ties to clean up the wiring, let me know.

OmahaSteaks, I think you needed to use my stands for an oil change, or something else.

Few others asked about cleaning their chain too, but forget who it was.

I've got all the tools you'll need as well as electrical stuff. My front stand will lift at least the GSXRs in the triple. My rear stand will lift spooled and non-spooled bikes (except single-side swingarms).

So PM me if you want my # or directions & I'll be glad to give you a hand.

*edit* if you're cleaning & lubing your chain, bring the cans with you. I have a grunge brush, but running low on chain wax.

thanks matty. with all the new members on here asking the same questions, NESR is beginning to get like gixxer.com and the other known forums where the veterans on here are ganging up and bashing the new guys for stupid questions.

just trying to help out, because i remember when I signed up & asked some questions. it felt great to hear how many people were willing to help me out & answer anything I asked without a ton of BS comments. I personally havent been getting that feeling anymore lately when the new people ask for help.

dan i have an oil pan and bucket for the old oil, as well as the tools. just bring some oil.

I do have some left over Respol 10w-40 4T regular oil from last seasons change. i switched to semi-snythetic, so i have no use for it.

Dang, I'd go but I'm driving the bike up to VT this afternoon to get my pickup. I'm just about due for an oil change, too. O well, it'll give me something to do on Saturday

I just stumbled on this post a minute ago - is this still going on? I'm relatively new to nesr, don't know most of you, but would love to come by and meet everyone/clean my chain.

Where is this happening exactly, DBConz (name?)'s house? don't know where that is...I'll PM you for directions, I'm in Upton, MA, so idk if you're far far away or not...
